Rated for 500 mA continuous output, the part uses synchronous rectification to keep efficiency high across the operating range — a key advantage when the input voltage crosses the output threshold and the converter transitions between step-down and step-up modes.
2.5 MHz switching shrinks the power stage
Switching at 2.5 MHz lets the designer use a 1 µH inductor and small ceramic capacitors, cutting the total solution footprint versus a 500 kHz or 1 MHz alternative. The trade-off is higher switching losses at light load — evaluate the efficiency curves against your typical load current. The fixed 3.3 V output eliminates the feedback resistor divider, saving two components and removing one noise injection point on the feedback node.
Industrial temp range, BGA package realities
