2 A continuous in a 1.6×2.1 mm footprint
Rated for 2 A continuous output in a SOT-583 package — that is the same silicon capability as a larger SOIC-8 but in roughly one-quarter the board area. The synchronous rectifier keeps the efficiency curve flat across load, so the 2 A rating is usable, not a peak number.
Adjustable output from 0.8 V to 22 V
Output voltage is adjustable from a 0.8 V reference up to 22 V with a simple resistor divider. That covers 1.2 V core rails, 3.3 V I/O, 5 V logic, and 12 V bias from a single BOM line. Input range is 3.8 V to 30 V, so it works from a 5 V or 12 V rail directly.
150°C junction — suited for high-ambient environments
The 150°C ceiling allows operation in engine-bay electronics, industrial enclosures, or outdoor telecom cabinets where the ambient can push 85°C and the self-heating from 2 A output adds another 30-40°C.
Switching frequency range — 200 kHz to 2.2 MHz
Lower frequencies improve efficiency at light load; higher frequencies shrink the inductor and output capacitor, which helps the SOT-583 layout keep the loop area small.
