600 mA buck in a 0.8 mm pitch SOT-583
The TPS629206DRLR is a 600 mA synchronous buck converter from Texas Instruments, packing the full regulator into a tiny SOT-583 package. Input range from 3 V to 17 V, output adjustable from 0.4 V up to 5.5 V. The synchronous rectifier is on-die, so you skip the external Schottky — saves two components and a placement step.
Selectable switching frequency and thermal range
Switching frequency is pin-strapped to either 1 MHz or 2.5 MHz. At 2.5 MHz the inductor drops to a 1 µH class, but the switching losses climb — the trade-off is board area versus efficiency. The junction temperature range runs from -40°C to 150°C, so this part lives in under-hood or factory-floor ambient without a derating headache.

Lifecycle status is Active.
SOT-583 footprint and power-stage layout
Keep the input capacitor within 5 mm of the VIN pin to minimise input ripple.
