Switching frequency selection and inductor sizing
The TPS62913RPUR lets the designer select 1 MHz or 2.2 MHz switching frequency. Running at 2.2 MHz shrinks the inductor footprint and reduces output ripple, but increases switching losses; 1 MHz gives better efficiency at higher input voltages. The synchronous rectifier keeps light-load efficiency competitive, important for always-on or battery-backed rails.
