750 mA step-down in a 0.97×1.47 mm DSBGA
The TPS62841YBGR is a synchronous buck converter from Texas Instruments delivering 750 mA continuous output from a 1.8 V to 6.5 V input rail. The adjustable output spans 0.8 V to 1.55 V, which covers the core voltages of most low-power MCUs and FPGAs.
1.8 MHz switching and junction temperature range
At 1.8 MHz, the converter runs above the AM broadcast band, reducing radiated emissions coupling into nearby analogue inputs. The input voltage minimum of 1.8 V means the TPS62841YBGR can start from a single Li-ion cell near end-of-discharge. The 6.5 V maximum input accepts 5 V rails with margin for transients.
ROHS3 compliant — no exemption-listed substances in the solder finish. The 6-DSBGA package (0.97x1.47 mm) is a wafer-level chip-scale package — the land pattern is the die footprint itself.
