3 A step-down in a 0.4 mm-pitch DSBGA
The TPS6283810YFPT is a 3 A synchronous buck converter from Texas Instruments' DCS-Control™ family, packing a full step-down regulator into a 6-bump DSBGA (0.4 mm pitch, 0.9 mm × 1.3 mm body). The 3.5 MHz switching frequency lets the output filter shrink to small ceramic caps and a tiny inductor — the whole supply fits in a corner of the board near the load.
Thermal and switching performance
The synchronous rectifier is integrated, so no external Schottky diode is needed; efficiency stays high across the load range, and the 3.5 MHz switching keeps ripple low enough for noise-sensitive analog supplies.
