2.1 V fixed rail for Bluetooth and low-power RF
The TPS62730DRYR is a step-down DC/DC converter from Texas Instruments that delivers a fixed 2.1 V output from an input range of 1.9 V to 3.9 V. It is purpose-built for powering Bluetooth (BLT) and other low-power RF chipsets, where a clean, regulated 2.1 V rail keeps the radio front-end linear and the PA happy. The single-output device comes in a 6-UFDFN package (6-SON, 1.45 × 1.0 mm body) — small enough to tuck next to the module on a compact board.
Input range and battery flexibility
The 1.9 V to 3.9 V input window covers a single Li-ion cell (3.0–4.2 V down to near-empty) and two alkaline cells in series (1.8–3.0 V). That means the same BOM works for a rechargeable Bluetooth headset or a coin-cell-powered beacon — no re-spin needed.
