6 MHz buck for tight spaces
Output current is rated at 800 mA, enough for a low-voltage core rail or a sensor supply in a portable or battery-powered design.
Output voltage and adjustment
The output is adjustable (programmable) from a minimum of 0.75 V up to 1.44 V, covering common 0.95 V and 1.1 V fixed options via the same pin-strap or resistor divider.
Housed in a 9-bump DSBGA (9-DSBGA) — a 0.4 mm pitch wafer-level package. The solder balls are under the die; there is no mould compound. Reflow profile must follow TI's DSBGA guidelines, and a hot-air rework station with a fine nozzle is needed for removal. The synchronous rectifier means no external Schottky diode is required, saving one component and one placement step.
