6 MHz switching — inductor shrinks to 470 nH
The TPS62619YFDT switches at 6 MHz, which lets the output filter use a sub-1 µH inductor and small 0402 ceramic capacitors. For a 350 mA rail, the inductor footprint is roughly 2.0 × 1.6 mm — the whole converter fits in a corner of the board that a slower 2 MHz part would need twice the area for.
Input voltage floor is 2.3 V, ceiling 5.5 V — covers a single-cell Li-ion through its full discharge curve and a regulated 5 V bus. The output is fixed at 1.8 V, no external divider needed. The synchronous rectifier is integrated, so the BOM omits the usual Schottky catch diode.
That covers outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor sensors, and automotive cabin modules. Not rated for under-hood or downhole — those need the 125°C or 150°C grades found in the automotive AEC-Q100 siblings.
Package — 6-DSBGA, 0.5 mm pitch
Supplied in a 6-bump DSBGA (6-XFBGA) package, 0.5 mm pitch.
Lifecycle — active production, ROHS3 compliant
The base product number is TPS62619; the YFDT suffix identifies the 6-DSBGA package and tape-and-reel delivery.
