Synchronous rectification and switching frequency
The 2.2 MHz switching frequency is high enough to keep the inductor small but low enough to avoid excessive switching losses in the FETs — a practical middle ground for 6 A rails. The output is adjustable via an external resistor divider; the internal reference sets the minimum output at 0.6 V.
