Dual-rail step-down in a 3x3 VSON
It integrates both high-side and low-side MOSFETs, so no external Schottky catch diode is needed. The 2.25 MHz switching frequency lets the designer use a small 2.2 µH inductor and 10 µF ceramic output caps, shrinking the total footprint to fit a 10-VSON (3x3 mm) package.
Output voltages and the programmable fixed option
The TPS62401DRCR offers a programmable fixed output — the 400 mA channel is preset to 1.1 V, the 600 mA channel to 1.8 V (with a 1.575 V option on the same pin). That covers the core and I/O rails for a typical low-power SoC or FPGA. If your BOM needs a different voltage, the part also supports external resistor-divider adjustment; the datasheet shows the feedback threshold.
