3 MHz buck for tight board spaces
The high switching frequency lets the designer use a small inductor and low-value output capacitors, shrinking the total solution footprint for space-constrained portable or distributed-power designs.
Programmable output: 1.5 V or 1.8 V
The output is adjustable (programmable) with a minimum/fixed option of 1.5 V or 1.8 V, and a maximum output of 1.98 V. That covers the core voltage for many low-power MCUs, FPGAs, and RF transceivers running on a 1.8 V rail. The single positive output with synchronous rectification keeps efficiency above 90 % across most of the load range.
