Output voltage range and programming
The adjustable output spans 0.75 V to 1.54 V, set by external resistor dividers or by selecting one of the factory-programmed fixed voltages (1 V or 1.2 V) through pin-strapping. This is a pin-strap part, not I2C-programmable — the voltage is set at the board level, not changed in firmware. For a BOM-cost engineer: the pin-strap approach avoids the overhead of an I2C interface and register configuration, but locks the output voltage to a single value per board variant. If dynamic voltage scaling is needed, this part is not the fit.
Package and mounting for rework
The 12-DSBGA package (12-bump wafer-level chip-scale) measures approximately 1.6 mm × 1.6 mm — no leads, no exposed paddle. The PCB layout engineer must route the bumps under the device; the 0.50 mm bump pitch requires a 4-layer board for reliable fan-out. For the rework lab: this is a hot-air reflow part; the small mass means the bump reflow profile must be controlled to avoid cold joints or bridging.
