3 MHz switching — small passives, tight layout
The TPS62302DRCR is a fixed-output step-down buck converter from Texas Instruments, switching at 3 MHz. That high frequency lets you use a 1 µH or smaller inductor and ceramic caps, shrinking the power stage to fit a 10-VSON footprint. The trade-off is layout sensitivity — keep the switch node short and the input cap close to the IC, or the radiated noise will bite you on a sensitive analog rail.
500 mA continuous, synchronous rectification
Rated for 500 mA continuous output with an integrated synchronous rectifier, so no external Schottky diode is needed. Output is fixed at 1.6 V — no resistor divider to adjust, so confirm that voltage matches your load before committing the BOM.
