2.25 MHz synchronous buck for automotive rails
The Texas Instruments TPS62293TDRVRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) step-down converter in a synchronous buck topology. It delivers a fixed 1.8 V output at up to 1 A from an input range of 2.3 V to 6 V, switching at 2.25 MHz. Synchronous rectification eliminates the external Schottky diode and improves efficiency at light load.
1.8 V fixed output — no divider resistors needed
The output is internally set to 1.8 V, so the feedback network is on-chip — two fewer resistors on the BOM and one less tolerance stack to account for. This is a common rail for MCU core supplies, FPGA I/O banks, and sensor bias lines in automotive systems.
