2.25 MHz synchronous buck — inductor and cap sizing
The TPS62260DRVR is a Texas Instruments synchronous step-down converter switching at 2.25 MHz. The synchronous rectifier keeps efficiency above 85% at light loads.
Input range 2V to 6V — supply rail fit
The input range is 2V to 6V. A 2V minimum input allows a Li-Ion cell to run down to its discharge cutoff.
600 mA output — load budget
Rated for 600 mA continuous output. That covers a small MCU plus a few sensors, a Bluetooth LE module, or a single RF transceiver. If your load pulls peaks above 600 mA, step up to the TPS62290 or TPS62300 family. The adjustable output from 0.6V up to 6V gives flexibility for core voltages and I/O rails.
The TPS62260DRVR is the Tape & Reel variant; the Cut Tape version shares the same silicon and footprint.
