Fixed 2.2 V rail for low-power loads
The TPS62225DDCT is a synchronous step-down (buck) regulator from Texas Instruments that delivers a fixed 2.2 V output at up to 400 mA from a 2.5 V to 6 V input rail. The fixed output eliminates the feedback divider network, saving two resistors and one feedback node on the PCB. The 1.25 MHz switching frequency allows the use of small inductors and ceramic output capacitors, keeping the total solution footprint compact for space-constrained designs.
Synchronous rectifier and efficiency
With an integrated synchronous rectifier, the TPS62225DDCT eliminates the external Schottky catch diode, reducing BOM count and improving efficiency at light loads. The single 400 mA output is suited for powering low-voltage digital cores, sensor rails, or I/O supplies in portable and battery-powered equipment.
Active lifecycle and package
The part is ROHS3 compliant.
