Fixed 3.3V rail from a single inductor
The TPS62203DBVR is a fixed 3.3V output, 300 mA step-down buck regulator from Texas Instruments. Switching at 1 MHz allows the use of small, low-profile inductors — typically 4.7 µH or 10 µH — keeping the total solution footprint under 30 mm².
Input range and thermal envelope
The input voltage range spans 2.5V to 6V, covering single-cell Li-ion (3.0-4.2V) and regulated 5V rails. At full 300 mA load and 1 MHz switching, the junction temperature stays within the rated range with basic PCB copper area; no exposed pad is needed on the SOT-23-5 package.
