The TPS62184YZFT is a synchronous step-down (buck) regulator delivering up to 6 A continuous output from a 4 V to 17 V input rail, all in a 24-bump DSBGA package. Output is adjustable from 0.9 V up to 3.5 V, positive polarity, single channel.
Reworking the 24-DSBGA – hot-air profile and pad layout
The 24-DSBGA is a wafer-level package with no exposed thermal pad – all heat conducts through the bumps into the board copper. Pre-bake at 125°C if the parts have been exposed to ambient humidity beyond the MSL floor life.
