The TPS62150ARGTR is a 1A continuous-output synchronous buck converter from TI's DCS-Control™ family, switching at 2.5 MHz. Input range spans 3V to 17V, covering 5V and 12V rails cleanly. That 0.9V floor matches the core voltage of many low-power MCUs and FPGAs.
Package and thermal: 16-VQFN with exposed pad
Housed in a 16-VQFN with exposed pad, 3x3 mm body. Without that via pattern, the junction-to-board thermal resistance climbs and the 1A output may be thermally limited at the upper end of the temperature range. That covers outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor sensors, and engine-bay-adjacent electronics that see ambient heat soak but stay below 85°C.
