2.5 MHz switching — inductor size and layout
Switching at 2.5 MHz lets the designer use a small 1 µH to 2.2 µH inductor and ceramic output capacitors, shrinking the total solution footprint. The trade-off is that the fast edges demand a tight layout — keep the input cap and inductor loop short, and place the feedback resistor divider close to the FB pin to avoid noise injection.
