Fixed 3.3V buck at 1.5A – military temp range
The TPS62111MRSAREP is a fixed 3.3V output step-down buck regulator from Texas Instruments, delivering 1.5A continuous current from a 3.1V to 17V input range. The fixed output eliminates the feedback divider, saving two resistors and one feedback-node capacitor from the BOM. Switching at 1 MHz, the part pairs with small inductors and ceramic output capacitors, keeping the power-stage footprint compact. Synchronous rectification removes the need for an external catch diode.
1 MHz switching shrinks the power stage
The 1 MHz switching frequency is high enough to use small inductors and low-ESR ceramic caps, but not so high that switching losses dominate at light load. Compared to the LM53625LQURNLRQ1 (2.1 MHz, 2.5A, automotive grade) or the LMR33630APCQRNXRQ1 (2.1 MHz, 3A, adjustable output), the TPS62111MRSAREP runs at a lower frequency, which can ease radiated EMI filtering but requires slightly larger passives. The fixed 3.3V output and military temperature range are the differentiators for this part.
Active production – military temp grade
The 4x4 mm footprint is common among TI buck regulators.
