1.5 A adjustable buck in a 4x4 QFN
The Texas Instruments TPS62110RSAT is a synchronous step-down (buck) regulator delivering up to 1.5 A from a 3.1 V to 17 V input rail. The output is adjustable from 1.2 V up to 16 V, set by a resistor divider on the FB pin. Switching at a fixed 1 MHz allows the use of small inductors and ceramic capacitors, keeping the total solution footprint compact. The device includes an internal synchronous rectifier, so no external Schottky diode is needed.

Synchronous rectification and 1 MHz switching
The 1 MHz switching frequency shifts the fundamental and its harmonics above the AM radio band, simplifying EMI filter design.
