Synchronous rectification — no external Schottky needed
The integrated synchronous rectifier replaces the catch diode, cutting external BOM count and improving efficiency at light load. For a 3.3 V rail at 100 mA, expect efficiency in the high 80s to low 90s percent range with the right inductor selection.
The ROHS3 compliance covers EU and most global regulatory requirements without exemption paperwork. The 10-VSSOP package is a common footprint — many pick-and-place lines already have the nozzle and vision recipe for it.
Derate the 800 mA output above 85°C ambient per the datasheet SOA curve — the 10-VSSOP package thermal impedance is the limit, not the silicon.
