The TPS62046DRCR is a synchronous buck regulator delivering a fixed 3.3 V output at up to 1.2 A from a 2.5 V to 6 V input bus.
Input range and load margin check
The 2.5 V minimum input covers single-cell Li-ion (3.0-4.2 V) and two-cell alkaline (3.0 V fresh) with headroom; the 6 V maximum excludes any 12 V or 24 V industrial bus. The 1.2 A output is a hard ceiling — if your transient peak exceeds that, the LM53625LQURNLRQ1 (2.5 A) or LMR33630APCQRNXRQ1 (3.0 A) are pin-compatible alternatives in similar packages, though both carry automotive AEC-Q100 qualification and a wider temperature range.
