Fixed 3.6V rail from a single-cell input
The TPS613226ADBVT is a boost converter that delivers a fixed 3.6V output from an input as low as 0.9V, suiting single-cell alkaline or Li-ion applications. The 1.6A switch rating supports loads up to several hundred milliamps depending on the input-to-output delta. Synchronous rectification improves efficiency at moderate loads, reducing the need for an external Schottky diode.
Switching frequency and thermal range
The switching frequency can be set between 500 kHz and 2 MHz, allowing the designer to trade off inductor size against switching losses.
