3.5 MHz switching — small passives, tight layout
Switching at 3.5 MHz allows the use of a 1 µH to 2.2 µH inductor and 10 µF output capacitor, shrinking the total solution footprint for space-constrained automotive modules like infotainment clusters, ADAS sensor bias supplies, or CAN transceiver rails. The synchronous rectifier (integrated) eliminates the external Schottky diode, reducing BOM count and forward-voltage losses at light load.
6-WSON exposed-pad package — thermal and layout notes
The 0.50 mm pitch limits breakout to two-layer boards; a four-layer stack with a solid ground plane under the pad is preferred for thermal performance.
