Six-channel boost regulator for LED backlight arrays
It integrates six current-sink outputs, each rated at 25 mA, with a maximum output voltage of 38V to accommodate series-connected LEDs.
PWM dimming and channel current matching
Dimming is controlled via PWM input, allowing the backlight brightness to be adjusted without shifting the LED colour temperature. For a display designer, the PWM dimming path must be clean — any ripple on the output at the dimming frequency can couple into the camera frame or cause visible flicker at low duty cycles. Six independent outputs can power six separate LED strings. The 38V output ceiling supports series-connected white LEDs.
Supply voltage range is 5V to 24V, covering common rails from USB power to industrial 24V supplies.
