Boost regulator for dual-string LED backlights
Switching at 1.2 MHz, the part keeps external inductor and capacitor values small — a 4.7 µH to 10 µH inductor typically fits the bill, and the 10-VSON (3x3) package saves board area in space-constrained display panels.
PWM dimming and dual-channel independence
PWM dimming is supported directly, so the backlight brightness can be controlled from the system processor without an external PWM generator. Each of the two outputs can be dimmed independently — useful for split-screen displays or dual-LCD panels where one string needs a different brightness level.
