Step-up boost for single-cell battery rails
The TPS610995DRVR is a synchronous step-up boost regulator from Texas Instruments, designed to generate a fixed 3.6 V output from input voltages as low as 0.7 V and up to 5.5 V. The 800 mA switch current rating defines the maximum output current — at a 3.6 V output from a 3 V input, the output current will be lower than the switch rating due to the boost ratio, so budget the load accordingly.
Fixed 3.6 V output — no feedback divider needed
The fixed 3.6 V output means the part is self-contained: no external resistor divider for feedback, which saves two resistors and one layout node. If your rail needs a different voltage, this part is not adjustable — the LM2750LD-ADJ/NOPB offers an adjustable output via charge-pump topology, but at a lower 120 mA output current.
