Dual-rail power in one 6-WSON — what the 4.3 V boost and 2.2 V LDO mean for your rail budget
The TPS610987DSER combines a synchronous boost converter delivering 4.3 V at 350 mA with a linear LDO output of 2.2 V at 200 mA — two regulated rails from a single 0.7 V to 4.5 V input. That covers the common split-rail need in battery gear: a higher-voltage rail for the RF PA or sensor bias, and a lower-noise rail for the MCU or analogue front-end, without a second regulator IC.
Input range 0.7 V to 4.5 V — cold-cell start and Li-ion compatibility
The 0.7 V minimum input lets the boost start from a nearly depleted single-cell alkaline or NiMH battery. At the top end, 4.5 V covers a fully charged Li-ion cell with margin.
TI lists the TPS610987DSER as Active.
