7 A boost converter in a 2.5 mm × 2 mm QFN
The 11-VQFN-HR package (2.5 mm × 2 mm) keeps the footprint compact for space-constrained portable or industrial designs.
Switching frequency and inductor selection
Running at 2.2 MHz lets you use a smaller inductor (typically 1 µH to 2.2 µH) to save board area, while lower frequencies improve efficiency at the cost of larger magnetics. The 7 A peak current limit and integrated synchronous rectifier eliminate the external Schottky diode, reducing BOM count and forward voltage losses.
Temperature grade and application environments
The 2.7 V minimum input supports operation from a single Li-ion cell down to near its discharge cutoff, so it works in battery-powered portable equipment, power banks, and USB-C power delivery designs.
