The TPS61081DRCR: This is a step-up (boost) converter with an adjustable output that can go as high as 27 V from an input as low as 2.5 V. The 1.3 A switch current limit defines the maximum deliverable power — at 27 V out, the available output current is roughly (1.3 A × Vin × efficiency) / Vout. That makes it a fit for biasing OLED panels, powering LCD backlight strings, or supplying industrial sensor rails that need more than the input bus provides.
600 kHz or 1.2 MHz — pick your trade-off
The switching frequency is pin-selectable between 600 kHz and 1.2 MHz. At 1.2 MHz the inductor and output capacitor can be smaller.
No synchronous rectifier — the external Schottky diode is your call on reverse recovery and forward drop.
