Boost regulator for LED backlight strings
The Texas Instruments TPS61060DRBRG4 is a step-up (boost) DC DC regulator designed primarily for backlight applications. It integrates a 400 mA switch and delivers a regulated output voltage up to 14.5 V from a supply range of 2.7 V to 6 V. PWM dimming input is provided on-chip, allowing direct interface with a microcontroller or PWM generator for LED brightness control.

Output voltage and current limits
With a maximum output of 14.5 V, this part can drive a string of three to four white LEDs in series, depending on the LED forward voltage. The 400 mA switch current rating sets the ceiling on total LED current; for a single-string application, the available LED current is the switch current minus the inductor ripple and any losses.
No official successor or second-source alternate is documented.
