Boost regulator for backlight and flash
The TPS61058DRCR is a DC DC boost regulator from Texas Instruments, built for driving LED backlight strings or camera flash modules from a single lithium-ion cell or 2.7V to 5.5V rail. It integrates the switching FET internally, so the external BOM stays small — just the inductor, input/output caps, and feedback resistors. The single output adjusts from 2.5V up to 5.5V via a resistor divider, and it delivers up to 500 mA per channel.
What the output voltage and current mean for your board
The 2.5V to 5.5V adjustable output covers the typical forward voltage of a 1-to-3 series LED string for small displays or a single high-current flash LED. The 500 mA per channel rating sets the peak flash current — enough for a phone or compact camera module, but not for multi-LED high-brightness backlights.

The 10-VFDFN exposed pad (3x3 mm VSON) is a surface-mount package with a thermal pad underneath.
