Boost regulator for high-voltage bias rails
It accepts an input from 1.8 V up to 6 V and can produce an output as high as 28 V, making it a fit for biasing OLED displays, driving avalanche photodiode (APD) bias, or powering MEMS micro-mirror drivers where a moderate current at elevated voltage is needed.
Switch current and output capability
At a 28 V output, the maximum practical load current is limited by the switch duty cycle and inductor losses.
Switching frequency and external component sizing
The switching frequency operates up to 1 MHz. This allows the use of small-value inductors and ceramic output capacitors, keeping the total solution footprint compact.
