Boost LED driver for single-cell backlight
The TPS61042DRBR is a current-mode step-up (boost) DC-DC regulator from Texas Instruments, purpose-built for driving white LEDs in backlight applications.
1 MHz switching and PWM dimming
Dimming is handled by a PWM signal on the EN pin; the part responds to duty cycles from 0 % to 100 %, giving the firmware direct control over LED brightness without an external DAC or series resistor.
