Charge pump for automotive rails
The Texas Instruments TPS60403QDBVRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) switched-capacitor charge pump in a SOT-23-5 package. The 250 kHz switching frequency keeps the external flying capacitors small enough for a compact PCB layout.
Output configuration and load budget
The single-output ratiometric topology can be wired as a positive doubler, an inverter, or a split-rail divider — no inductor needed. The 60 mA rating is continuous; at elevated ambient the SOT-23-5's junction-to-ambient thermal resistance will limit usable current, so budget derating above 85°C case temperature. The synchronous rectifier is disabled internally, so the output is unregulated and tracks the input ratio.
