Ratiometric charge pump — no inductor needed
Because it uses switched-capacitor topology, no inductor is required — just two external capacitors for the flying and reservoir stages. The switching runs at 250 kHz, which keeps the external cap values small enough for the SOT-23-5 footprint.
Output voltage choices: -Vin, 2Vin, or Vin/2
The fixed output can be set to one of three ratios: invert the input to -Vin, double it to 2Vin, or halve it to Vin/2. That covers the common unipolar-to-bipolar rail split for op-amp supplies, a boosted rail for LCD bias or sensor excitation, and a mid-rail reference from a single cell. The 60 mA ceiling limits this to low-power loads — think single op-amp rails, not a whole analog front end.
Active production, SOT-23-5 package
The SOT-23-5 body (SC-74A) is a common five-pin footprint that rework techs can hand-solder with a fine tip and some flux. No hot-air station required.
Temperature range and field fit
That 125°C ceiling means it can sit next to a hot regulator or on a board in an engine-bay-adjacent enclosure without derating the output current — though at the upper end the charge-pump efficiency drops as the flying-cap ESR rises.
