0.8V threshold supervisor for low-voltage rails
The TPS3899DL08DSER is a nanopower supervisor from Texas Instruments that monitors a single voltage rail with a 0.8V threshold. That 0.8V trip point is designed for modern low-voltage cores — think 0.9V or 1.0V supplies where a standard 1.6V or 2.9V reset IC would never trigger. The active-low, open-drain output lets you wire-OR the reset signal with other supervisors or a manual reset button on the same pull-up line. The reset timeout is 40µs typical — short enough that a power-on glitch on a clean rail won't cause a false reset, but long enough to hold the processor in reset through the supply ramp. The operating temperature range spans -40°C to 125°C, so it can sit on an engine-control board or an outdoor radio without a temperature grade downgrade.
