Simple Reset/Power-On Reset IC with adjustable timeout
It is designed for systems that need a clean, controlled startup and reliable brown-out detection across industrial and automotive temperature ranges. The reset output is Active Low and Open Drain, meaning it pulls low when the monitored voltage falls below the threshold and releases to a high-impedance state when the supply recovers. This allows the output to be pulled up to a different voltage level than the monitored rail, simplifying interface with 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V logic.
Adjustable threshold and reset timeout
Both the voltage threshold and the reset timeout period are adjustable/selectable via external resistors, giving the designer control over the trip point and the duration of the reset pulse. This flexibility is useful when the monitored rail has a tight tolerance or when the downstream device requires a specific reset hold time. The device monitors a single voltage and is available in a compact 6-UFDFN package (6-SON, 1.45x1 mm), suitable for space-constrained PCB layouts in portable, industrial, and automotive electronics.
Temperature range and production status
The wide junction temperature range ensures reliable reset behavior in motor drives, engine control units, and outdoor telecom equipment.
