Voltage supervisor with adjustable trip and timeout
The open-drain or open-collector output lets the designer wire-OR the reset line with other supervisors or pull it to a different logic voltage.
Adjustable threshold and timeout — what it buys you
Both the reset threshold voltage and the reset timeout period are adjustable/selectable via external components, not fixed at the factory. This means one BOM line covers multiple rail voltages — set the trip for 3.3 V on one build, 5.0 V on the next — without changing the IC. The timeout is set with a capacitor on the CT pin, giving the designer control over how long the reset stays asserted after the rail recovers.
Temperature range and package for tight spots
The 6-pin SON package (1.45 mm x 1 mm body) saves board area but demands a well-designed solder stencil and a thermal via under the exposed pad to keep the junction within limits at high ambient.
For a BOM that needs a voltage supervisor for the next several years, this part does not force a last-time-buy decision today.
