4.4V threshold supervisor for 5V rails
It monitors a single supply rail and asserts a reset output when the voltage drops below the 4.4V threshold. The reset output is active-low, open-drain, so it can be wire-ORed with other reset sources on the board. The 619ms typical reset timeout holds the system in reset long enough for the supply to stabilise after a brownout, avoiding premature startup into an unsettled rail.
Compared to the TLV803EA29VDBZR, which has a 130ms minimum timeout and a 1.0V minimum supply, the TPS3840DL44DBVRQ1 offers a longer 619ms timeout and a fixed 4.4V threshold — better suited for 5V rails where a longer debounce period is needed to filter supply noise.
