What this supervisor does for your 3.3V rail
It monitors a 3.3V supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below 3.08V. The output is push-pull, active-low, so it can drive the reset input of an MCU or FPGA without an external pull-up resistor.
Threshold, timeout, and temperature boundaries
The 3.08V threshold is set for a nominal 3.3V rail — it trips before the supply falls below the minimum operating voltage of typical 3.3V logic.
Package and PCB layout consideration
The device comes in a 4-X2SON package measuring 1x1 mm. The 4-pin footprint is straightforward to hand-solder with a fine-tip iron, but the pad pitch is tight; a stencil is recommended for reflow assembly.
