The TPS3838K33QDBVRQ1 is a Texas Instruments simple reset IC with a 2.93V threshold, designed to monitor a single 3.3V supply rail in automotive systems. The threshold sits at roughly 89% of the nominal 3.3V rail, so the reset asserts before the downstream logic sees a brownout below its minimum operating voltage. The active-low, open-drain output lets multiple reset outputs wire-OR together on a shared pull-up — common in multi-rail ECU designs where any fault pulls the master reset line low.
