Push-pull output saves a BOM resistor
The output stage is push-pull, totem-pole configuration, which drives the reset line to the supply rail without requiring an external pull-up resistor. For a BOM line that runs hundreds of supervisors per ECU, that is one resistor per channel that drops off the placement cost and board area.
