The minimum reset timeout is 120 ms, long enough to let the supply rail and oscillator stabilise before the processor is released from reset.

The 4.55 V threshold is set for a nominal 5 V supply. When the monitored voltage drops below this level, the reset output asserts and holds for at least 120 ms after the rail returns above threshold. This prevents the processor from running during brownout or power-up transients. The single-voltage monitoring is straightforward: one rail, one supervisor, no external divider needed.
