AEC-Q100 grade-1 reset supervisor for 5 V rails
The TPS3824-50QDBVRQ1: The reset output is configurable as either Active High or Active Low, with a push-pull, totem pole output stage that drives the processor reset pin directly without an external pull-up resistor. The minimum reset timeout is 120 ms, long enough to let the supply rail and oscillator stabilise before the processor is released from reset.
4.55 V threshold — the 5 V rail watchdog
The 4.55 V threshold is set for a nominal 5 V supply. When the monitored voltage drops below this level, the reset output asserts and holds for at least 120 ms after the rail returns above threshold. This prevents the processor from running during brownout or power-up transients. The single-voltage monitoring is straightforward: one rail, one supervisor, no external divider needed.
SOT-23-5 package and supply posture
Housed in a SOT-23-5 surface-mount package, this part fits a compact PCB footprint with standard reflow soldering.
