2.93V threshold — why that number matters
That 0.37V margin below the nominal 3.3V is deliberate — it gives the bulk decoupling time to hold the rail above the threshold during a transient load step, but it also means a heavily loaded rail with 100 mV ripple is already eating a quarter of that margin.
Dual reset outputs — one chip, two signals
This part offers both an active-high and an active-low reset output from the same package. That means you can drive the /RESET pin of a microcontroller with the active-low output while simultaneously feeding the active-high output to an FPGA's INIT_DONE or a power-good LED — no external inverter needed. The outputs are push-pull, so no pull-up resistor required on the active-low line. The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A) is a five-pin footprint that fits on tight mixed-signal boards where every mm² counts.
Industrial temperature range — field-ready
The threshold voltage is trimmed at the factory and stays within ±1.5% over temperature, which is tighter than the resistor-divider-based supervisors you'd build from discrete comparators. Surface-mount only — the SOT-23-5 is a standard footprint for reflow assembly.
