Supervisor for harsh environments — what the ratings mean
It monitors a 3.0V or 3.3V rail with a 2.64V threshold and asserts a reset output when the supply drops below that level. The reset output is Active Low with a push-pull, totem-pole stage — no external pull-up resistor needed, which simplifies the BOM on the processor reset line. The 120ms minimum reset timeout ensures the monitored rail has stabilised before the processor is released from reset — long enough to cover most power-supply ramp-up profiles.
The TPS3809L30MDBVREP is supplied in a SOT-23-3 package, a three-lead surface-mount footprint. The small body fits into compact designs, but the narrow lead spacing means the PCB land pattern should follow the manufacturer's recommended footprint to avoid solder bridging during reflow.
No stock-holding claim is made; the part is procured per RFQ.
