Supervising the 3.3V rail – why that 2.64V threshold matters
The TPS3809L30DBVR is a single-channel voltage supervisor that holds the reset output low until the monitored supply rises above 2.64V and stays there for at least 120ms. That 2.64V trip point is set for a nominal 3.3V rail – it triggers when the supply drops about 20% below regulation, which is a common brownout detection window for 3.3V logic. If your processor needs a tighter threshold, this part will not work; but for a typical 3.3V MCU or FPGA bank, it is a standard fit.
